Union Public Service Commission conducts Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the
•Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)
•Border Security Force (BSF)
•Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
•Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
•Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
•Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB

Eligibility Criteria

Age: Individuals aged between 20 and 25 years of age as on 01st August of the year of admission are eligible to apply.

Educational qualification: Degree from recognized university with equivalent qualification.


Physical Standard:-

The Minimum requirements for the candidate are as follows:-

Men:-

Height:-165 cm

Chest (unexpanded):- 81 cm (with 5 cm minimum expansion)

Weight: - 50 kg

Women:-

Height: - 157 cm

Weight: - 46 kg

Examination Pattern

Paper I : General Ability and Intelligence - 250 Marks

The questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.

Paper II : General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 Marks

Physical Efficiency Tests (PET)

Males:-

(a) 100 Meters race - in 16 seconds
(b) 800 Meters race - In 3 minutes 45 seconds
(c) Long Jump - 3.5 Meters (3 chances)
(d) Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) 4.5 Meters —

Females:-
(a) 100 Meters race - in 18 seconds
(b) 800 Meters race - in 4 minutes 45 seconds
(c) Long Jump - 3.0 meters (3 chances)
(d) Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) 4.5 Meters —
