The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 will be conducted by the IITs . The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The decisions of the JAB 2018 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2018 and admission to IITs. Eligibility Criteria Age Limit: General Category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1993, while candidates belonging to ST/SC/PwD categories will get 5 years relaxation. Number of Attempts: Candidates can sit for JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Qualifying Examination: Aspiring candidates are required to have passed their 12th exam in either 2017 or 2018. Examination Format JEE Advanced consists of 2 papers (Paper I and Paper II) and both are mandatory to attempt. Both the papers will be conducted for 3 hours each. The examination will be held in English and Hindi language. Both Paper I and Paper II will have questions from 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
