The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed in 1962 for holding Common Entrance Examinations for admission to the Undergraduate Level Engineering Courses in the State of West Bengal. Now WBJEE is conducted for offering admission to the candidates in the UG courses of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture. It is a state level entrance exam through which candidates can get admission into various colleges and universities in the state of West Bengal.
