A public trust is established by the Bombay Stock Exchange and SVKM’s NMIMS in March 2005 became the platform for the setting up of the BSE SVKM’s NMIMS Centre for Capital Market Studies to conduct educational programs in the field of Capital Market Studies. The Stock Exchange, Bombay, is addition to being a well-known, well-established institution; it is also modern and futuristic in its outlook. The program is unique in the sense that it integrates conceptual knowledge, contemporary inputs, technology, information and skill development. Curriculum for Bombay Stock Exchange MBA from NMIMS Features of the Programme: Program is in collaboration with BSE First Program in India with a Mock Trading Room Program focuses on all major financial markets: equity, fixed income, forex, commodity and derivatives Skill set development for careers in trading and treasury management Skill set development for careers with large sell-side Investment banks Skill set development for buy-side players like pension funds, hedge funds and mutual funds Skill set development for large private equity players Evaluation Criteria: The Program consists of a total of 1215 hours of teaching and 40.5 credits. The continuous pattern of assessment takes place to evaluate students.
