Yearly, they acquire Rs. 400 in their basic pay as a promotion, till 03 years and the basic pay becomes Rs. 8400. After the next three years, they receive three promotions in their basic pay as it raises 500 for each year to achieve to Rs. 9900. After that, they obtain Rs. 600 pay raise for each year for four years up to their basic pay reaches 12300. This process keep on till the basic pay reaches Rs. 19300/-. Location Wise SBI Clerk Salary: As per the latest SBI Clerk Notification, the initial monthly salary of a Clerical Cadre employee assigned at an urban city like Mumbai is approximately Rs. 20,950/- including D.A. and other allowances. Allowances differ depending upon the location of working of the employee. In Class Y cities: Rs. 20,000/- In Class Z cities: Rs. 19,000/- State Bank of India offers about Rs. 2000/- higher (due to additional allowances) for the clerical posts in contrast of the other banks.
