Is GATE qualified Candidate are required to clear TS Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test PGECET exam for admission?

Candidates, who are qualified in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), will be given preference during seat allotment procedure, and they will not be required to appear for Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test TS PGECET 2017.

After the seats are filled with GATE qualified candidates, the remaining vacant seats will be filled as per merit order by those, who have secured ranks in TS PGECET.

Candidates, who have qualified in GATE, need not appear for TS PGECET, but are required to fill application form separately.

TS PGECET 2017 Application fee for GATE candidates -

Fees: Rs.800 (Rs.400 for SC/ST)

Cash at AP Online centres
Online Payment through Debit/Credit card

TS PGECET 2017 Counselling will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in GATE.
