Yes The National Institute of Technology has a center in Uttarakhand. The NIT Uttarakhand is a public engineering institution in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

It was founded in 2010 as one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India, and is recognised as an Institute of National Importance.

The temporary campus is located in Govt. ITI, Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal district. Srinagar Garhwal is 105 kilometres (65 mi) from Rishikesh on National Highway 58 leading to Badrinath.

Rishikesh railway station is the nearest railway station. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, 125 kilometres (78 mi) from Srinagar.

There are three branches namely Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
