Can you tell me about the selection process followed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for recruitment 2016 – 2017 of Management Trainee Post?

The Qualification requirement for various posts of Management Trainees in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is as under:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technology or its equivalent (Full Time) (4 years after 10 +2) from the Institutes / Universities recognized by appropriate statutory authorities in India, in the Disciplines / eligible Branches of Engineering,

Selection Process
HAL use Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results for recruitment of Management Trainees. One who qualifies in the GATE examination will be shortlisted for Personal Interview.

GATE scores (marks out of 100) will be reckoned for shortlisting of candidates for the Personal Interview. Final selection will be done by assigning the weightage of 85% marks for GATE Scores (out of 100) and 15% marks for Personal Interview.

Eligible candidates, who wish to apply need to first apply for GATE and thereafter appear in GATE as per instructions and timelines notified by GATE-Organising Institute in one of the relevant GATE Examination Papers.
