The Barkatullah University was established in 1970.

The University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC).

It is one of finest and well known Universities in Madhya Pradesh State.

The University offers several Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs. It also offers Ph.D and M.Phil research programs.
