The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Exams for admission to Professional Courses in the State as per G.O.(Ms) No.31/83/H.Edn dated 19.02.1983.

All the allotments made by the Commissionerate will be on the basis of the rank list and by observing the principles of reservations and will be in accordance with the orders of the Honourable Courts of Law and the orders issued by the Government.
