The Indo Tibetan Border Police was established on 24 Oct 1962. The ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh.

This is covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western, Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border.

ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers.

For to fill and get download candidates need to register for Indo Tibetan Border Police form. After registration, registered candidates may get their application in online mode.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force is given an employment notification for the recruitment of Constable (Motor Mechanic) & Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) vacancies in Group C on temporary basis.

Eligible male Indian citizens may apply online from 09-01-2018 at 00:01 am to 07-02-2018 at 11:59 pm.

Age Limit:
Candidate’s age should be between 18-25 years
Age relaxation is applicable by 05 for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC candidates as per Govt. orders.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have 10+2 pass from a recognized Board or Institution, Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute with 03 years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or 03 years diploma in Automobile Engineering
Matriculation or 10th class pass from a recognized Board or Institution and Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade from a recognized institution or 03 years’ experience in respective trade from a recognized firm

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on PET, PST & written test.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay of Rs. 100/- for General (UR)/ OBC category
No fee for SC, ST and Ex-servicemen candidates.
