Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University is a pioneer Pharmaceutical Institution recognized Nationally & Internationally for imparting highest quality of education since its establishment in 1956.

Department is accredited by National Board of Accreditation-All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, and Pharmacy council of India and is having honour of only University Department in India accredited by National Board of Accreditation.

It has been recognized as the Department of Special Assistance by University Grant Commission, New Delhi and also recognized by Department of Science and Technology for FIST programme. It conducts Graduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Research Programme in Pharmacy under the Faculty of Medicine.
