The Department of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, University Of Kerala offers M.Phil. Bioinformatics program of duration 1 year.

M.Phil. Bioinformatics

M.Phil. Bioinformatics is an Interdisciplinary postmaster’s research degree which is often seen as training for PhD.

This one-year (2 semester programme) is open to Computer Science, Life Science and allied Master’s degree holders (MSc, M Tech, MCA, MSc Agriculture, MPharm, MD, etc).

Exposure to theoretical and practical aspects of Bioinformatics is included in the programme.

Duration One year, Two Semesters (under Credit & Semester System)

Eligibility -

MSc Computer Science, MCA, MSc Information Technology, MSc. Electronics, MTech in any branch, MSc in Life Sciences, M Pharm, MD, etc

Fee

15,000/semester* + Special fee to be paid at the time of admission
