The Rabindra Bharati University is provides Admission in distance education mode. The RBU was established on 1962.

This University has three faculties, namely, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts and Faculty of Visual Arts.

The University is offering regular UG, PG and Doctoral programs. This Rabindra Bharati University is also offers MA & MSW programs in Distance Education mode (RBUDDE).

Admission is completely based on the marks in the qualifying examination. RBU releases the course-wise provisional merit lists for the shortlisted candidates.
