Can you tell me about the eligibility requirement for postgraduate medical as laid by Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Maharashtra (AMUPMDC)?

ASSO CET is the all India level entrance examination that will be conducted by the Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Maharashtra (AMUPMDC) for admission to postgraduate medical courses (APGMC) and dental courses (APGDC) in Associated Unaided Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria

One must have passed MBBS/BDS exam from recognized medical/dental institution.

One should have completed one year compulsory rotating internship.

One should be registered with MCI/DCI or State Medical/Dental Council.

One who have completed PG diploma is eligible for ASSO CET admission for PG degree in same subject.

ASSO CET Exam Pattern

There are 300 multiple choice questions in APGM CET and 100 MCQs in APGD CET.

The duration of APGM CET will be 3 hours 30 minutes and APGD CET will be of 1 hour 30 minutes.

The syllabus of the entrance examination is of MBBS/BDS standard.


There is no provision of negative marking for wrong answers.

The entrance examination will be conducted in Mumbai only.

Selection Process

The selection will be done on the basis of merit and preferences done by the candidates.
