About the College :

The college was established by the Ministry of Transport, Government of India, in 1948. The Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research is a premier post-sea Maritime Education and Training Institute offering a comprehensive range of courses for Merchant Navy Officers.

Location :

LBS College is about 1.5 k.m. from the Reay Road Railway station & 2 k.m from 'Sewri' Railway station on the Harbour line of Central Railway. It can be reached by BEST bus Nos. 60, 168 and also by the College bus at routine timings.
