Every year there has been a new change, a new advancement in EEE symposium conducted by Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi- Tamil Nadu.

In 2017 EEEA was set to host its 20th edition of “Alagappa Chettiar College of national level technical symposium (ALCONESY)” on October 12th and 13th of 2017. The annual technical event consisted of six events and all the events were meant to test one’s intelligence.

Workshops in Karaikudi:
LoRa stands for Long Range Radio and was mainly targeted for M2M and IoT networks. This technology enabled public or multi-tenant networks to connect a number of applications running on the same network.
Each LoRa gateway had the ability to handle up to millions of nodes. The signals could span a significant distance, which meant that there were fewer infrastructures required, making constructing a network much cheaper and faster to implement.
LoRa also featured an adaptive data rate algorithm to help maximize the nodes battery life and network capacity. The LoRa protocol included a number of different layers including encryption at the network, application and device level for secure communications.
