The The Bidhan Chandra Krishi PO Krishi Vishwavidyalaya conducts the common entrance exam every year to admit students’ eligible in different under graduate and post graduate courses available in the university.

Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, BCKV is came into being in West Bengal in 1974.

The sylvine campus is having its teaching, administrative, extension and research units now at Mohanpur, Nadia, and WB.

The entrance exam is scheduled to be held from June to July at the university main campus- Mohanpur, Nadia.

The candidates should be Bachelor in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Agricultural Engineering with at least 6.60/ 10.00 CGPA for the OBC category and 5.60/ 10.00 for SC/ST category of applicants respectively.

Eligibility for Admissions:
The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination / Class 10th with the following subjects: English/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology with a minimum of 50% marks (for General Candidates), 40% (SC/ST/ PH Candidates) and Intermediate / Class 12th in Vocational Stream for this purpose.
