Solapur University situated in Solapur city in Maharashtra state, is one of the scholastic foundations in India. Prior, to the arrangement of University, Solapur had a P.G. Focal point of Shivaji Universityfor more than two decades. The middle for P.G. studies had 3 postgraduate science divisions and 7 postgraduate courses directed in the P.G. offices. With this sound foundation Solapur University has been built up to provide food the requirements of more than 60,000 understudies group. Number of Engineering, Agricultural, Architectural, Medical and Traditional foundations of national distinction are situated in and around the city.
