The National Vector Borne Diseases Control Programme is provides an important module for training to Multipurpose Worker.

The Health Service functionaries to be trained / oriented in malaria control by the Medical Officer (MO) of Primary Health Centre (PHC) are Multipurpose Workers ((MPWs Male & Female).

In addition MO, PHC will have to train the persons from the community whose assistance in malaria control is crucial.

The GoI has provided cash assistance for engaging Multi-Purpose health Workers (MPW) on contractual basis in high endemic districts for strengthening surveillance, treatment, prevention and control of malaria and other vector borne diseases.

Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA), Anganwadi Workers and MPWs are trained on the use of RDTs and ACT for malaria diagnosis and treatment at community level. Incentives are given to ASHAs for providing these services.

Documents are required for training:

The Candidates are requested to bring all the Original Certificates in support of their qualification, Age, valid Caste Certificate, Valid Residence Certificate (valid up to 6 months) & Valid Employment Registration Card for verification.

They are also requested to bring the complete fill in application form in prescribed format with two nos. of recent passport size photographs.

Candidates having invalid & incomplete documents will be summarise rejected & no undertaking for submitting documents later will be entertained.
