I would like to tell you that Vinayaka Missions University, All India Common Entrance Examination (AICEE) has been replaced by NEET-UG for admission to MBBS course and here I will gather details for you about NEET exam. Exam pattern The Entrance Test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen provided by CBSE at centre only The duration of test would be 03 hours (10.00 am to 01.00 pm) Language of the Question Papers (i) Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi (ii) Option of medium of Question Paper should be exercised while filling in the application form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later (iii) Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only and the candidates opting for Hindi would be provided Bilingual Test Booklet i.e. in Hindi and in English Reservation of Seats in NEET 2018 OBC (Other Backward Classes) 27% Scheduled Caste (SC) 15% Scheduled Tribe (ST) 7.5% Physically Handicapped (PH) 3% Application fee Category Amount paid as per last year UR & OBC Rs. 1400/- SC/ST & PH). Rs. 750/- Eligibility Nationality: Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian citizen. OCIs/NRIs/PIOs/FNs candidates are also eligible to apply. J&K/AP/Telangana: Such candidates are eligible for All India 15% quota only (also eligible for admission in AFMC, Pune) on the basis of self-declaration. Aadhaar Card Requirement: Indian National candidates must have an Aadhaar Number to apply for NEET exam. Age Limit: Minimum Age: The minimum age limit is 17 years Maximum Age: The maximum age limit is 25 years Qualification: Examination: Candidates should have qualified 12th or equivalent exam. Subjects: Subjects Should be Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject. 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply. Marks Required: In the qualifying exam (PCB group), students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for general-PH and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC. |
