Chaudhary Devi Lal University was established by the Government of Haryana on 5 April 2003.

The Chaudhary Devi Lal University is provides syllabus for its all academics courses. The University had been recognized by the University Grants Commission and declared eligible for Central Assistance under Section 12 (B) of UGC Act vide UGC letter No. F.9-17/2003 (CPP-1) dated 17.02.2009.

Bachelor of Computer Applications is an undergraduate Information Technology course. Computer Applications or Application software is computer software designed to help the user to perform singular or multiple related specific tasks.

The duration of Bachelor of Computer Applications is three years, divided into a number of semesters which are generally six in number.
