This is the most important factor for any situation in life. Time management is a most important thing. A student has to prepare himself/herself for the exam and decide which part should be attempt first. For IBPS PO exam firstly you have to know the exam pattern. According to this you may manage your time according to subjects. Exam Pattern Subject Qs Marks Time Reasoning Ability 35 35 1 Hour Quantitative Aptitude 35 35 English Language 30 30 Total 100 100 The student should leave the question if he doesn’t know to answer. He should not spend too much time on any particular part or a problem. English, General Awareness, and the computer should be attempted first as they acquire the least time to be solved. On an average 1 minute for each question should be obtained otherwise the papers left. If possible skip the topic which is lengthy and time-consuming like puzzles of reasoning because they consume a lot of time to be solved. The standard time that should be: English language– 15 Minutes Quantitative Aptitude– 20-25 Minutes Reasoning Ability– 20-25 Minutes Time Management In IBPS Po Exam: English Section This section consists of many topics like: Error detection: 3 minutes Sentence improvement: 2 minutes Cloze test: 3 minutes Passages: These can be approached by attempting the synonyms antonyms questions first. Quantitative Section This section consists of many topics like Number series- 3 minutes Simplification- 3 minutes Quadratic equations- 4 minutes Reasoning Section This section consists of many topics like Inequality- 4 minutes Coding-decoding- 4 minutes Blood Relation, Direction, Ranking & arrangement - There can be 3-4 questions from these topics which can be attempted within 4 minutes. Seating arrangement, puzzle- These questions should be attempted at the end after attempting half of the section. |
