Key eligibility criteria for admission to Kerala University M. Tech 2017 include minimum aggregate score of 60% (54% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in the engineering degree. M. Tech admission 2017 will fill 50% of seats of participating colleges. The remaining 50% seats will be filled through direct admissions by the colleges. Kerala M. Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017 • One must be an Indian national to be eligible for Kerala M. Tech • One should have earned a degree from a AICTE-approved / Deemed Universities in India • The minimum academic requirement is 60% in aggregate (54% for one belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories) in the engineering degree exam. • One with AMIE/AMIETE qualifications will be considered for admission provided they meet the following conditions: • One must have a valid GATE score • One must have scored at least 55% marks in Section B in the AIMTE/ AMIETE exam • One who is awaiting the final semester results may also apply, but the application is provisional subject to the passing all the subjects across the six semesters (eight semesters for B. Arch candidates). • Only GATE qualified candidates will be considered for admission, expect for sponsored candidates. • If there are vacant seats left after exhausting GATE merit list, such seats will be filled by one from Kerela who don’t have valid GATE score. • In the scenario where vacant seats are left even after accommodating non-GATE Kerala students, such seats will be filled by non-GATE candidates from other states.
