The All India Postgraduate Medical Entrance Exam is replaced by NEET. The NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section of Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

NEET-PG is a single window entrance examination for PG courses.


Exam fee:
For SC/ST/PWD candidates : Rs. 2750/-
For General/OBC candidates : Rs. 3750/-

Publication of notification by NBE and issue of application form 31 Oct 2017
Last date to submit application form 27 Nov 2017
Availability of admit card for candidates who have applied 01 Jan 2018
Date of NEET PG exam 2018 07 Jan 2018
Date of declaration of the result 31 Jan 2018

Exam Pattern of NEET PG:

Number of questions
There will be a total of 300 questions.

Type of questions
Multiple choice questions (MCQ) with single answer correct.

Duration of exam
3 hours and 30 minutes.

Negative Marking
There shall be 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
