Tentative dates
Online registration 1st week June 2017
Last Date of registration 2nd week June 2017
Last Date for remitting registration fee in Bank Last week of June 2017
Publication of Rank List 3rd week June 2017
Counselling started Fourth week of June 2017

Application fee
The application fee for UG and PG programmes is Rs.600 per department (Rs.300 per department for SC, ST, PWD and women candidates).

The application fee for Ph.D course is to the extent of Rs. 600/- per Department code (Rs. 300 for SC/ST/PWD and Women).

The application fee is non-refundable. Candidate can deposit the fee using bank challan from any branch of SBI and Union Bank of India on the next working day onwards, after the date of successful completion of Online Registration.

Selection
For admission to IIST B.Tech Programmes, candidates have to appear in JEE Main 2017 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and qualify themselves to appear for JEE Advanced 2017 conducted by IITs. Candidates have to secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in the examination
