WBJEE JELET is the Joint Entrance Examination for the Lateral Entry to 2nd year of study in the four year for Courses (3rd Semester) of Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy (Except Architecture) for the academic year 2016-17 Eligibility Criteria The Applicant (male/ female/ transgender) must be a citizen of India For Engineering & Technology a) Candidates should have passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) b) Candidates should have Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and pass XII standard with Mathematics as a subject c) Provided that in case of students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall have to clear the subjects of Engineering. Graphics/Engineering Drawing & Engineering Mechanics of the 1st year Engineering Program along with the second year subjects d) Provided further that the students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma Stream For Pharmacy Candidates should have passed Diploma course in Pharmacy from an AICTE approved Institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) shall be eligib Examination Pattern Duration: 2 hours. Total Marks: 100 Language: All the questions will be asked by English only. Pattern: There is one Common question paper for all branches of engineering/technology courses and separate question paper for Pharmacy and B.SC candidates. Each negative response will fetch (-1/4) marks. Using black/blue ball pen, the candidates should be marked the answer in OMR sheet. Application Fees : Fees amount is Rs. 500/– plus service charge. |
