Department of Ocean Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Principal Project Officer, Project Officer & Project Associate vacancies for the “PPTX” project on “Geophysical and Geotechnical Investigations of Port Basin and Approach Channel” on temporary basis.

Total No. of Posts: 12

Name of the Posts:

1. Principal Project Officer: 01 Post
2. Project Officer: 02 Posts
3. Project Associate: 09 Posts

Eligibility Criteria-

Candidates should have Ph.D (Civil/ Coastal/ Ocean Engg/ Oceanography/ related discipline for post-1

M.Tech/ M.E (Civil/ Ocean Engg). 7.0 CGPA, B.Tech/ BE (Civil/ Mechanical related discipline 7.0 CGPA and above with a minimum of two years experience in Coastal field monitoring or related studies) for post-2

B.Tech/ BE (Civil/ Coastal/ Ocean Engg./ Physical oceanography/ any other relevant discipline with 7.0 CGPA and above) for post-3 with relevant experience

Age Limit:

Candidates maximum age should be 65 years.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on interview.
