I want to get admission in M.Tech in Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati so can you please provide me the details of admission?

The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati invited online application form for admission in M.Tech courses in the Institute.

The Application process of IIT Guwahati M.Tech Admission 2017 was held from March 22 to April 17, 2017.

Candidates will be given admissions on the basis of their performance in GATE.

IIT Guwahati M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in an appropriate area and a valid GATE score

Candidates are required to obtain minimum CGPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks or first class in the qualifying degree (relaxation of 5% marks or 0.5 CPI for SC/ST/PD candidates)

B.Tech degree holders from an IIT with a minimum CPI of 7.0 need not appear for GATE.

IIT Guwahati M.Tech Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their GATE scores. They may further have to appear for a written test and a personal interview.

Rs.150 (Rs.75 for SC/ST/PD)

Paid via: DD from any nationalized bank in favour of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, payable at Guwahati
