Re: average marks in iit jee
Don’t worry I will let you know details of IIT Joint Entrance Examination Mains exam and will also tell you average marks requirement for the exam. Requirement The weightage of 12th marks is not considered for calculating JEE Main Rank from 2017. There is no minimum criteria for 12th percentage for appearing in JEE Main 2017 exam. For the candidates to qualify for the admission in the IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced)/JEE(Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination. Syllabus Maths : Sets relation and functions Complex numbers and quadratic equations Matrices and determinants Permutations and combinations Mathematical induction Binomial theorem and its simple applications Sequences and series Limits continuity and differentiability Integral calculus Differential equations Co-ordinate geometry Three dimensional geometry Vector algebra Statistics and probability Trigonometry Mathematical reasoning Physics : Physics and measurement Kinematics Laws of motion Work power and energy Rotational motion Gravitation Properties of solid and liquids Thermodynamics Kinematics of gases Oscillations and waves Electrostatics Current electricity Magnetic effects of current and magnetism Electromagnetic induction Alternative currents Electromagnetic waves Optics Dual nature of matter and radiation Atoms and nuclei Electronic devices Communication systems and Experimental skills.
