The Indus Entrepreneurs UP (TiE UP) and Syndicate Bank Entrepreneurship Research and Training Center, IIT, Kanpur propelled their lead Worldwide Entrepreneurial Talent Nurturing Initiative 'TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE)' Program 2016. Keeping with the pattern of TiE Young Entrepreneur (TYE) program since the most recent 5 years, this year excessively SBERTC, IIT Kanpur sorted out this program in relationship with TiE UP at IIT Kanpur. The occasion goes for developing and supporting the soul of business enterprise and advancement at the school level. Inside this program, fifteen sessions on Entrepreneurship, Ideation, Opportunity acknowledgment, Finance, Marketing, Communication and introduction, business diversion and Business demonstrate /Business law were sorted out on nine days. Four separate sessions on coaching were taken up on four different Sundays. The program included classroom sessions, coaching and Business Plan rivalry for school understudies of classes 9 to 12. Every session gone on for 3 hours. The investment was from twelve schools crosswise over Kanpur – Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Delhi Public School-Kalyanpur and Azadnagar, Sheiling House School, Mariampur Sen. Auxiliary School, Methodist High School, Mercy Memorial School, Dr Virendra Sawroop Education Center – Panki and Kidwai Nagar, Swaraj India Public School, Puranchandra Vidyaniketan, St. Aloysius School and St. Mary's Convent School. The sessions were taken up either by staff at IIT Kanpur, or personnel at IIM Lucknow or a workforce of IMI, New Delhi. The TYE program was introduced on September 18, 2015 and the classroom sessions begun on 27-9-2015 at IIT Kanpur – • The 1st classroom session was organized on 27th of September on “Entrepreneurship and Ideation” by Prof. B.V.Phani. • The 2nd classroom session was organized on 4th of October on “Idea Generation / Opportunity Recognition” by Prof. Ashutosh Khanna. • The 3rd session was a mentoring session organized on 18th of October. • The 4th classroom session was organized on 25th of October on “Mentoring / final idea submission”. • The 5th classroom session was organized on 1st of November on “Marketing” by Prof. Shashi Shekhar Mishra. • The 6th classroom session was organized on 8th of November on “Communication and Presentation” by Prof Himanshu Rai. • The 7th classroom session was organized on 15th of November on “Finance” by Prof B.V. Phani. • 8th classroom session was organized on 22nd of November on “Business Law / Business model” by Prof Ashutosh Khanna • The 9th classroom session was organized on 29th of November – during this session, participants played a “Business Game” designed by Prof. Deepu Phillip and Prof Ashutosh Khanna. • Three mentoring sessions followed each on December 6th, 20th and 3rd January 2016. Plan Submission was done by aspirants on January 16, 2016 as well as the final round of selection and prize announcements was done on 24th January 2016. |
