Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Kalasalingam University was set up in the year 1984. In 1995 the Department turned into the primary self-fund designing school office in south India to offer M.E (CSE). From the year 2003 the office is putting forth an exceptional course on M.E Network Engineering. In view of the foundation and staff quality the office was perceived as research focus by Anna University in 2003 to offer M.S (by Research) and PhD programs in the region of software engineering and Engineering.

The department has very much prepared research facility offices including OS, DBMS, Computer Graphics, Multimedia, Internet Programming, Entry Level labs to give the down to earth preparing to the understudies.
