Eligibility

The candidates having Masters Degree i.e. MA (Sanskrit / Hindi/ Philosophy/Dharam/Religion /Ved/Ancient Indian History) disciplines are eligible to apply for Entrance Test & registration in PhD program of Religious Studies

Candidate who wishes to be accepted as a candidate for PhD research program must satisfy the following academic criteria:
Masters degree with at least 55% marks (52.25% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana) in aggregate in the subject concerned or in an allied subject (or);

Selection Procedure:

Applications for enrolment to Pre-PhD course shall be advertised once in a year normally in the month of September/October.
The University shall make admission to Pre-PhD course through an entrance test

Last date for payment of fee through /Net: 16th January 2018 (as per Banking/Debit/Credit Card bank time schedule)
Last date for submission of Online Application Form: 19th January 2018
Date of Entrance Test: 21st January 2018
Date of display of Entrance Tests Result on University website: 22nd Janaury 2018
Date of Interview-cum-Counselling for admission in Pre-Ph.D. Program: 25.01.2018 (at 10:00 am in respective departments)
Commencement of Pre-Ph.D. Classes: 29th January 2018
