Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), formerly Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, is a public engineering and research institution in India. It is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in central India

VNIT Nagpur Facilities of hostels:

There are 3 hostel blocks 8 , 9 & 8/9(extension)
No of students per room - 4
Hostel rooms are equipped with one study table, chair, cot / bed / cupboard for each student with sufficient number of ceiling fans and tube lights.
Keeping personal furniture, appliances etc. are not allowed in the hostels
Use of all types of motorized vehicles and electrical appliances viz. iron / hotplates/ induction cookers, refrigerators etc. is strictly prohibited (except Air Coolers in summer) for hostel inmates.
Parents, relatives, friends are not allowed to stay in the hostel with students
Items which are required for personal use viz. Mattress, Bed sheets, Bucket & mug etc. are to be brought in / required to be purchased by students.
