Citizenship: Indian nationals.

Qualification: One should have pass in 3 year Diploma granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government, with minimum 45 % aggregate marks or equivalent Or
Pass in BSc Degree, with Mathematics in 12th standard, from a recognized institution / university with minimum 45 % aggregate marks or equivalent

Eligibility for B. Tech Lateral Entry Admission under various categories is as under:

B. Tech Lateral Entry Admission under General Category: Admissions are offered based on rank in the All India Manipal Entrance Test (MET).

B. Tech Lateral Entry Admission under Foreign/NRI Category: Admissions are offered based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
