Banaras Hindu University (BHU) was founded by the Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in 1916. It is one of the most reputed central universities in India. The university will conduct separate BHU Entrance Exam 2019 for UG & PG programmes, i.e. UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) & PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test). Important dates: Online Application Release 1st week of February 2019 Last date of receipt of online application 1st week of March 2019 Admit Card Release 4th week of April 2019 Date of Exam 1st week of April to Last week of April 2019 Result Declaration 3rd week of May 2019 Counselling Starts 1st week of July 2019 Eligibility for different courses: 1. B.A (Hons.) Arts a. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10+2 or equivalent examinations. b. The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019. Ideally, his/her DOB should fall on or after 1 July 1997. 2. B.A. (Hons.) Social Sciences a. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10+2 or equivalent examinations. For B.A. (Hons.) Economics, the candidate should have mathematics as their subject in HSC examinations. b. The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019. Ideally, his/her DOB should fall on or after 1 July 1997. 3. B.Com. (Hons.)/ B.Com. (Hons.) Financial Markets Management a. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in 10+2 or equivalent examinations with commerce/ economics/ mathematics/ finance/financial markets management/computer science/vocational courses as one of the subjects. The candidate should have passed in the listed subjects to be eligible. b. The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019. Ideally, his/her DOB should fall on or after 1 July 1997. 4. B. Sc. (Hons.) Maths Group a. The candidate should have secured in 10+2 or equivalent examinations a minimum aggregate of 50% of subjects physics, mathematics, and any one of the following subjects: chemistry, statistics, geology, computer science, information technology and geography. The candidate must have passed in all the three subjects. b. The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019. Ideally, his/her DOB should fall on or after 1 July 1997. 5. B. Sc. (Hons.) Bio Group a. The candidate should have secured in 10+2 or equivalent examinations a minimum aggregate of 50% of subjects physics, chemistry, and any one of the following subjects: biology, geology, and geography. The candidate must have passed in all the three subjects. b. The candidate should not be more than 22 years as on 1 July 2019. Ideally, his/her DOB should fall on or after 1 July 1997. |
