Punjab Gramin Bank is a sponsor bank of Punjab National Bank - a pioneer banking institution in India.

PGB has come into existence after amalgamation of three erstwhile RRBs i.e.: Kapurthala Firozpur Kshetria Gramin Bank, Gurdaspur Amritsar Kshetria Gramin Vikas Bank and Shivalik Kshetria Gramin Bank

PGB Deposit Schemes

PGB Saving Fund Accounts-

Eligibility: Individual (Single or Jointly), Minor of age 10 year or above, illiterate/visually impaired person.

Minimum Balance: Rs 500/- .

Max Balance: No limit.

Rate of Interest: 4% P.A. applicable on Daily Basis.

Other Facilities: Nomination Facility, Cheque Book, NEFT.

PGB Multi Benefit FDt Scheme-

Eligibility: Individuals and joint account, Minor through guardian, HUF,Firm, Club.

Amount of Deposit: Minimum deposit of Rs 1000/-.

Period of Deposit: Min 1 year to Max 10 years

Loan/Advances: Overdraft Facility available @ 2% above the contacted rate.

PGB Flexi Recurring Deposits Scheme-

Eligibility: Individuals and joint account, Minor through guardian. (A depositor can open more than 1 account).

Amount of Deposit: Minimum deposit of Rs 100/- or Multiples in monthly instalments should not exceed 10 times the core amount.

Period of Deposit: From 6 months to 120 months

Loan/Advances: Overdraft Facility available.

Tax exemption: No income tax shall be deducted

PGB Special Fixed Deposit Scheme-

Eligibility: Individuals and joint account, Minor through guardian, HUF,Firm, Club.

Amount of Deposit: Minimum deposit of Rs 1000/- .

Period of Deposit: Min 1 year to Max 10 years

Payment Option:
a) Income option - Interest may be paid on Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly/Yearly Basis.
b) Maturity Option-Interest payable on Maturity

Loan/Advances: Overdraft Facility available @ 2% above the contacted rate.
