UNIT 3 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS 9 Hrs. Indian Contracts Act -Elements of Contracts -Types of Contracts -Features and Suitability -Design of Contract Documents -Standard Contract Document -Law of Torts - Potential Contractual Problems -Arbitration Tenders - Prequalification, Bidding, Accepting -and Evaluation of Tender. Introduction to basics of international contracts. UNIT 4 INVENTORY MANAGEMENT 9 Hrs. Quantity of materials -time of purchase -inventory control - terms and definitions-types of inventory models-EOQ -Quantity Discounts -Safety Stock -Replacement Theory. UNIT 5 MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT 9 Hrs.
