The Newark campus of Rutgers Law School is located in the Center for Law and Justice, Rutgers University-Newark, in Newark, New Jersey. It and the Camden campus are the two campuses of the unified Rutgers Law School. About the Program : The 3+3 Program enables highly qualified students to complete both a bachelor’s degree and a graduate law degree (Juris Doctor) in six years, rather than the usual seven. The 3+3 Program is open to Rutgers students across all three of the University’s schools/colleges of Arts and Sciences, in Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick. Program Credit : The 29 credits required during the first year of law school count toward both degrees. Eligibility Criteria Score Requirement A Rutgers UGPA in at least 36 Rutgers credits at or above the median for recent Rutgers Arts and Sciences applicants applying to law school nationwide (currently a 3.40), AND An LSAT score (high score) equal to or above the median LSAT score for recent Rutgers Arts and Sciences applicants applying to law school nationwide (currently a 154). Other Requirement A Rutgers undergraduate UGPA at or above the 75th percentile for Rutgers applicants to law school nationwide (currently a 3.70 or above), OR Life experiences, background or accomplishments which indicate the ability to overcome challenges and contribute to the dialogue in the law school classroom.
