Advertisement generally comes out immediately after GATE result announcement and Counselling happens sometime in May-June. Eligibility Criteria- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area or MSc (Computer Science/Information Technology) or Graduates (AMIETE) from Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in Computer Science & Engineering or MCA from a recognized Institution and a valid GATE score in CS. Minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks or First Class in the qualifying degree, All regular category candidates (except those having BTech degrees from an IIT with a minimum CPI of 7.0) must possess a valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Regular candidates are admitted based on their GATE score in CS. Non-Regular candidates have to appear for written-test and Interview. Criteria for short-listing candidates: BE/B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE/EEE) with 60% / 6.5 CPI (for General and OBC) & 55% / 6.0 CPI (for SC/ST/PD) with the following GATE cut-off score.
