Re: Eligibility for GMAT Entrance Exam
The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test that assesses a person's analytical writing, quantitative, verbal and reading skills for being admitted into a graduate management program, such as an MBA. There is no any specific criterion for GMAT. For GMAT, there is no bar on age, gender, country of origin, subject or discipline. Though the age preference is said to be 18 years, GMAC regulations direct an aspirant below the age of 18 years to get written permission from a parent or legal guardian. GMAT score is used in the admission process of Masters or Post Graduate courses, test takers are ideally required to have an undergraduate degree to cross further levels of the selection process set up by the school they plan to apply to. Eligibility There is no specific eligibility criterion for GMAT. However, various universities / colleges which accept GMAT scores have their own criteria of admission. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates may take the exam no more than five times within a 12-month period. The minimum period of wait between two consecutive exams is 16 days. Candidates who have previously scored a perfect score of 800 must wait for five years before them a take a retest. Candidate must follow all of the registration and testing rules. Age: Must be at least 18 years old Those of who are between 13 and 17 years must get a written proof of permission, from a parent or legal guardian in order to appear for the GMAT exam. There is no upper age limit to take the GMAT exam. Educational Qualifications Candidates must have an Undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized board or university.
