I want to know the job profile of Assistant Section Officer in Central Secretariat Service CSS so will you please tell me?

Assistant Section Officer in Central Secretariat Service CSS, is an Assistant post offered through SSC CGL.

The work profile will normally include clerical work like completing files and making reports,routine noting, drafting, writing letter and putting them up to the higher authorities.

Assistant Section Officer Qualification :

Degree from recognized university or equivalent

Computer Knowledge is also desirable.

Assistant Section Officer pay scale-

(i) Your Pay Scale 9300-34800
(ii) Grade Pay 4600
(iii) Your Initial Pay 9300
(iv) Total Pay (i) + (ii ) 13900

As an Assistant in other Ministries you will be entitled to the following major allowances:

1. DA on your Total Pay above (around 107 %).
2. Some Transport Allowance.
3. House Rent Allowance(if not provided with quarters)
4. Petrol allowance.
5. Limited bill for mobile.

According to the current pay scales, You would get a salary of around 40,000/- pm initially ( can be varied a little as per place of posting)
