The Liverpool University has a building at Apex building. The University of Liverpool’s Apex 2 building has won ‘best educational building award’ in last year’s regional LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Building Excellence Awards. A £35 million building, Apex 2 was constructed to accommodate more than 200 researchers currently working in the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. These researchers are available for to provide state of the art facilities, including a BioBank, which will create a unique research and industry environment.
