Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PG CET) is a state level entrance exam. It is conducted by the Karnataka Examination authority (KEA) for admission in various PG courses. It offers admission into first year of MBA/MCA/ M. Tech/ M.E./M. Arch and second year or lateral entry to MCA programme. Karnataka PGCET 2018 Dates (Tentative) Availability of online application form 1st week of July 2018 Submission of application fee in specified bank 1st week of July 2018 Last date to submit application form 4th week of July 2018 Closing of submission of application fee 4th week of July 2018 Date of exam 1st week of August 2018 Eligibility Criteria Basic Eligibility: Residential: One must belongs to Karnataka state & have a domicile certificate of Karnataka. One, those are not belong to Karnataka state are eligible for admission into MBA/MCA seats. One have a valid GATE score card are not eligible to appear Karnataka PGCET exam, but they can fill the application form. Qualification Criteria: For MBA: One must hold the 3 years of bachelor’s degree passed with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates). Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern The question paper will be in different versions. The Exam pattern is given here: Exam Mode: The exam will be held through offline mode (Pen-Paper Based). Language: The question paper will be asked in English language only. Type of Question: The question will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. Number of Questions: Total 100 questions will be asked in the examination for each course. Exam Duration: The duration of the examination will be 2½ hours. Marking Scheme: One mark will be given to the candidate for correct answer in MBA exam. In MCA & ME/M. Tech/M. Arch, for PART I one mark & for PART II two marks will be allotted for correct response. Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking. |
