The Kerala State Electricity Board Limited is charge unit on tariff category in Kerala. Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission is approved the ARR& ERC order on suo motu proceedings and revised the tariff applicable to certain categories of LT, HT & EHT consumers of the State as well as all the bulk licensees/consumers with effect from 18.04.2017 The average revenue realisation on a unit of electricity supplied to domestic consumers will be Rs 3.75 for the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). As a group, the domestic consumers are cross-subsidised to the extent of 29 per cent of the cost involved in power supply.
