About the University


Solapur University located in Solapur city in Maharashtra state, is one of the academic institutions in India. Earlier, to the formation of University, Solapur had a P.G. Centre of Shivaji Universityfor over two decades.


The University encourages the faculty to deliver lectures in other Universities and Institutes by providing them duty leave.

Further, the University also encourages its teaching staff as resource persons in refresher courses at academic staff colleges of other universities and institutions.
