Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA) is the Administrative Training Institute of the Government of Maharashtra, and meets the preparation needs of government divisions and rustic and urban non-authorities and partners.

Dr. Ambedkar Competitive Examination Center (ACEC) was set up at YASHADA, Pune in May 2006, under the Special Component Plan (SCP) for giving honing, for Civil Services Examinations, to the weaker segment of the general public. ACEC goes for tapping the ability in understudies, urging them to show up for Civil Services Examination and helping them to enhance their planning for the examination. It likewise goes for teaching, in them, the way of life of serving the group in general.

Division of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, has authorized Rs.30 lakhs for consistently to the Center through Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI), Pune.

Facilities Provided

Accommodation: The hopefuls are without given private office on the grounds of YASHADA.

Stipend: Rs. 1500/ - is paid as stipend to every hopeful consistently on the premise of his participation and execution in class .

Advisory groups: Selection and Academic Committees have been framed to encourage smooth working and observing of the Center. The Hon. Chief General, YASHADA heads the Academic Committee and additionally Selection Committee. Executive of the Center is secretary of over two boards of trustees.

Scholarly Committee: Addl. Chief General, Registrar, Director-Research and Documentation Center, Director-Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Competitive Research and Training Institute, are the individuals from the Committee.

Site: A segment of this site, giving data of the Center and direction to the applicants showing up in Civil Service Examination, has been propelled in the time of October, 2006.
