Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow has announced to follow Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) Grade Point is a numerical weightage allotted to each letter grade on a 10-point scale. Letter Grade (letters A, B, C, D, E and F) is an index of the performance of students. One credit is equivalent to one hour of teaching (lecture or tutorial) or two hours of practical work/field work per week. Credit Point is the product of grade point and number of credits for a course. Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) is a measure of academic performance of student/s in a semester. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is a measure of overall cumulative performance of a student over all semesters. The minimum credit required for B.Tech./B. Pharm./B.HMCT/BFAD degree is 192 credits.
