The AP State Eligibility Test- APSET notification is likely to be released in the month of April by Andhra University.

AP SET for recruitment as Assistant Professors or Lecturer in various Universities, Degree Colleges & Institutions of Higher Education in Andhra Pradesh.

SET is mandatory for lectureship in colleges and universities in the state.

The APSET examination is conducted in 31 subjects for which UGC has granted permission.

The list of subjects is as follows:-

Educational:
Candidates should possess Masters Degree or equivalent examinations from universities/ institutions recognised by UGC with at least 55% marks or Ph.D Degree or Post Graduation diploma/ certificate awarded by Indian University/ Institute or foreign Degree/ Diploma/ certificate awarded by the foreign University/ institute & cleared their SET.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test.

Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs 1000/- (for General Category),
Rs 800/- (for B.C category)
Rs. 500/- (for SC/ ST/ PH/ VH category)
