JEE (Advanced) is the IIT Joint Entrance Examination. Seven Zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are conducting JEE Advanced / IIT JEE 2017 under the guidance of Joint Admission Board. This is the second stage of Joint Entrance Examination after the CBSE JEE Main IIT Madras is the organizing institute of JEE (Advanced) 2017. The questions papers will be printed separately in English and Hindi One has to specify thei choice of question paper language at the time of online registration for JEE Advanced 2017 Each of the question papers will consist of 3 separate parts in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Questions are of objective (multiple choice) type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates In some sections, incorrect answers may be awarded with negative marks One is provided with a two page doublet of optical response sheet (ORS) for answering. The answers for each the questions are to be marked on the front page of the ORS by darkening the appropriate bubble/bubbles (as per instructions in the questions paper) One is directed to use black ballpoint pen only to darken the bubble(s) given as choices of answers to the questions One must strictly follow the instructions printed on the question paper for appropriate way of darkening the bubbles for valid answers Papers: JEE Advanced examination comprises of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 Duration: The duration of both exams will be three hours Subjects: Both question paper will contain the three separate sections i.e., Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry |
